Profile

SIP identity (PAI / PPI / RPID / Privacy)

Outbound SIP INVITEs from your user use these values. Leave blank to inherit the trunk default. The trunk’s IdentityHeaders policy controls which of PAI / PPI / RPID actually gets emitted on the wire. How does this work?

Just the user portion. The host part is taken from the trunk.

P-Asserted-Identity (PAI)

RFC 3325. Trusted-identity header for carrier-class trunks (Telnyx, SignalWire, Voxbeam).

P-Preferred-Identity (PPI)

RFC 3325. Used when you want the carrier to assert a different identity than auth permits. Rarely needed alongside PAI.

Remote-Party-ID (RPID, legacy)

Pre-PAI scheme. Some older PBXes (Asterisk < 13, Cisco UCM) still honour RPID instead of PAI.

Privacy (RFC 3323)

Most carriers ignore this. FRITZ!Box ignores it entirely. Leave blank unless your trunk provider docs say otherwise.

Your plaintext password never leaves the browser — we hash it to HA1 = MD5(user:realm:password) locally and only POST the hash.
